IPMAT leads to a five-year IIM programme
IPMAT stands for Integrated Programme in Management Aptitude Test. It is the entrance exam for 5-year integrated management programs that begin right after Class 12, ending in both a bachelor's and an MBA-equivalent degree from an IIM. A student never has to graduate first, sit for CAT, or wait years to enter the IIM ecosystem.
The most common myth that keeps commerce and humanities students away is that IPMAT is a calculus exam for Non-Medical students only. It is not. Most of what is actually asked, arithmetic, ratios, percentages, number systems and basic algebra, was covered by Class 10. A student who rebuilds arithmetic fluency and prepares verbal ability with a real system tends to outperform a student who leans on advanced calculus alone.

A student without Maths in Class 12 can still apply to Indore, Rohtak, Ranchi, Jammu and Bodh Gaya. Only Shillong and Amritsar make Maths mandatory.
