Three shorter practice passages. A reasoning taster, not a full-length or official LNAT paper.

No registration to start. Contact details are required for results. Keep this page open; refreshing loses your attempt.

Indicative only: based on your answers, not a final decision, prediction or guarantee. Please do not decide on this alone.

Read before you start (optional)

This result is indicative. It is based only on the answers you gave. It is not professional advice, an admission or job prediction, or a guarantee of any outcome. Treat it as one input. Before you decide, check eligibility, fees and requirements with the institution, and talk to your parents or guardian and a qualified counsellor. The decision, and its outcome, remain yours. AptiGuide is not liable for decisions made on this result alone.

About the real LNAT format

Section A has 42 multiple-choice questions on 12 argumentative passages, with three or four questions per passage and five options per question. It lasts 95 minutes.

Section B asks you to choose one essay from three prompts in 40 minutes. The Consortium does not score it; it is sent to universities.

This mini mock uses three shorter passages of 450 to 600 words and ten questions in 24 minutes. Its difficulty labels are editorial judgements.

How to use your result

Read the explanation even when you answered correctly. Identify the phrase that rules out the closest alternative, then try the suggested practice task.

Question types have small samples here. A correct answer is evidence of success on that item, not proof of mastery.

FAQs

Is this an official LNAT paper?

No. AptiGuide wrote every passage and question for this independent practice taster. It is not an official past paper.

How long does this mini mock take?

You have 24 minutes for 10 multiple-choice questions on three passages. Each question has five options and one correct answer. The timer submits your answers when it reaches zero.

Do I need legal knowledge?

No. Work from the argument in each passage. You do not need knowledge of laws, cases or legal terminology.

Do I need to register before starting?

No. Start immediately. After submitting, enter your name, email, WhatsApp number, entry year and age group. Accept the consent statement. Under-18s must also confirm that their parent or guardian knows and agrees.

Can I change an answer or skip a question?

Yes, until you submit or time runs out. Use the question buttons to return to a question, flag it, or clear an answer. An unanswered question earns no mark.

What happens if I refresh the page?

Your answers and timer are held only in this page. Refreshing or closing it loses the attempt. Keep the page open until you have submitted and reviewed your result.

What feedback will I get?

You get the number correct out of ten, question-type feedback, an explanation for every answer and a short practice plan. The optional essay prompt is unscored.

Does AptiGuide mark the optional essay?

No. The optional Section B-style prompt includes three self-check criteria. There is no AI marking or essay submission on this page.
