The closure notice comes before the scholarship grid

Bennett University's scholarship page says its AY 2026-27 allocation is exhausted and no further scholarship applications for that cycle will be accepted. It separately says AY 2027-28 scholarship applications will open shortly. Both statements were present in the material retrieved on 15 October 2026. The published tables remain useful reference material, but this page does not present the exhausted allocation as an open offer.

The notice also says admission can continue, subject to seats, without scholarship. That distinction matters if you are deciding whether to accept an admission offer while hoping financial support will appear later. Ask for an individual award decision and the applicable cycle before reducing your budget. An application, offer or qualifying score does not establish that scholarship funds remain available.

Each programme has its own score table

The scholarship page separates programmes rather than publishing one university-wide threshold. The selected tables below retain the named course and score columns. For example, the Computer Science Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering schedules differ. A result that meets a band for one course should not be used to claim the same percentage for another.

The columns also refer to different evidence types, including school results, CUET, JEE Main, IB and SAT where listed. Use the relevant column rather than comparing unlike scores. Ask which subjects make up the school aggregate, which score version is valid and how board normalization applies. A broad “best of three” label does not settle every subject-combination question for a particular applicant.

Normalization and valid results affect assessment

Bennett's conditions say scholarship eligibility is assessed using valid examination results and the university's approved normalization. For boards other than CBSE, the scholarship and admission committee's normalized scores are relevant. This guide does not convert another board result into an invented CBSE-equivalent figure. Submit the actual marksheet and ask the institution to confirm the assessed score.

If you have more than one examination result, identify the routes you want considered and ask which single award applies. The published conditions say the highest applicable scholarship is awarded where a student qualifies for multiple schemes. They do not support adding two table percentages together. Keep the decision in writing, especially if an initial quotation changes after results are verified.

Continuing support is conditional

The retrieved conditions describe first-come, first-served allocation and limited availability. Meeting a threshold does not guarantee an award. They also state a minimum CGPA of 8 on a 10-point scale for continuation in subsequent years, subject to university policy. That is a continuation condition, not an assurance that an award will remain unchanged regardless of performance.

Ask how and when continuation is reviewed, whether there are other programme-specific requirements and what happens if a course changes. A family should understand both the initial award and the consequence of losing it. We have not multiplied a first-year concession across a degree or calculated a guaranteed total saving. The fee schedule and individual award must provide the relevant basis.

Family and service categories have different durations

The page describes sibling, single-girl-child, alumni and defence-related concessions in programme sections. The sibling wording ties support to the overlapping period of siblings' programmes and to wards of the same parents. Other categories carry their own fee-base and duration wording. Ask for the terms in your programme section instead of treating a family category as a universal additional discount.

A postgraduate applicant considering an alumni concession should confirm that the intended programme is included. A service-related application needs the accepted proof of service and dependent relationship. Do not assume that a category mentioned beside one degree transfers to another degree with the same award level. These questions belong in the award review before the payment is committed.

The Vineet Jain Scholarship is a separate assessment

The Chancellor's Scholarship Fund includes the Vineet Jain Scholarship for deserving and financially needy students. The published categories include several personal circumstances and achievements, as well as an annual family-income category below ₹7 LPA. Inclusion in a category does not determine the award amount. Seats are limited and the university retains discretion over selection and awarding criteria.

If this route fits your circumstances, request the current application and document requirements. Income, personal status and achievement evidence should be supplied through the confirmed process. This guide has not inferred a percentage or guaranteed full tuition from the programme's title. The current-cycle closure notice also needs to be resolved before assuming any application window is available.

Fees and scholarships must use the same academic year

Bennett's fee navigation labels the saved schedule AY 2026-27, while the design programme page advertises an August 2027 start. Neither fact establishes a complete 2027-28 scholarship offer. Ask for the fee schedule, scholarship decision and intake together. A course beginning in a later year should not be budgeted by combining unrelated older fee and support figures.

The fee guide separates annual tuition, printed course totals and additional charges where published. A tuition concession does not automatically cover registration, a deposit, accommodation or other payments. Ask for the balance payable and when the award is posted. Avoid reducing a payment yourself simply because your marks appear to fit a reference grid.

Preparing a useful conversation

Share your course, intake, marks and entrance results, together with any award communication already received. Ask whether an application is open for your cycle, which evidence is assessed, what remains payable and how continuation is reviewed. AptiGuide can help you organise those questions and assess the course choice. Bennett makes the scholarship decision; this page preserves the published reference policy and the closure notice rather than promising an available award.

Questions students ask

Are Bennett University scholarships open for the next intake?

The page says AY 2026-27 allocation is exhausted and AY 2027-28 applications will open shortly. No dated reopening is verified.

Does meeting a score band guarantee funding?

No. Read the programme restrictions and verification requirements, and obtain an individual award decision before planning a reduced payment.

Can scholarship percentages be added together?

Do not combine schemes without written approval. Where the retrieved policy specifies a single highest award, that condition applies.

What should I bring to a scholarship discussion?

Bring the exact course, intended intake, marks and relevant scorecards or status evidence. Ask for covered charges, adjustment timing, availability and continuation conditions.
