The current timetable identifies admission year 2027
UDIT's admissions page explicitly labels its examination schedule Admission Year 2027 and advertises applications for 2027-28. It lists four admission rounds, each with its own application closing date and examination dates. The schedule checked on 15 October 2026 is reproduced below. It provides a stronger basis than carrying forward a previous IIAD examination calendar into the new intake.
The examination centre is identified as UDIT Campus, Gurugram. The page distinguishes design and management tests and includes undergraduate and postgraduate applicants in the schedule. Check the exact round and programme in your application confirmation before arranging travel. A published calendar does not establish seat availability for every degree on every examination day.

Choose a round using its application deadline
The first round closes in November 2026 for examinations in December 2026. Later rounds span January, April and May 2027. Those dates belong to the admission-year schedule even when the event itself takes place in the preceding calendar year. The table retains each application deadline beside its examination window so the two cannot be confused.
The fourth listed application deadline is the latest in this retrieved timetable. It should not be described as an irreversible university-wide final deadline for every future application. Ask whether your intended programme is accepting applications in the selected round and whether any revised notice applies. We have not invented a fifth round, a late-fee window or an extension after the printed schedule.
Start with the programme and qualification
The retrieved admissions page states that undergraduate applicants need 10+2 or equivalent in any stream from a recognised board, with a minimum of 50% marks. For postgraduate programmes it states graduation in any stream from a recognised institution with a minimum of 50% marks. Those are the general published requirements; your intended award and documents still need to be matched during the application.
The page says applicants can apply and sit the entrance assessment while final results are pending. That does not waive the final qualification requirement. Ask when completed results must be supplied, how a conditional offer is handled and what happens if the final result does not satisfy the condition. Keep the answer with the offer rather than assuming an early test result settles academic eligibility.
Design applicants take U-DAT; management applicants take U-MAT
The current process names U-DAT for the School of Design and U-MAT for the School of Management. It describes an entrance assessment at the UDIT campus, followed by portfolio evaluation and a personal interview in the application sequence. Confirm the portfolio requirement and format for your exact programme, particularly when applying in management rather than assuming a design portfolio checklist applies unchanged.
The institution describes the tests as assessing aptitude, creative or analytical thinking, problem solving and readiness for the chosen programme. Preparation should follow that programme context. Ask for the instructions and sample material supplied after application. We have not substituted an older IIAD test name for the current UDIT assessment or promised that another entrance result automatically exempts you.
The application sequence continues after the test
The published steps are online application, entrance test, portfolio evaluation and personal interview, then an offer and enrolment confirmation if selected. Treat each as a separate stage. An application acknowledgement is not an offer, and attending the assessment does not reserve admission. Read the communications issued for your round so you know which step is still outstanding.
Before submitting, check the course name, academic level and contact details in the application. Save the acknowledgement and any instructions about documents. If you need a correction, ask for the procedure rather than creating a second application without guidance. The retrieved admissions content does not specify a universal correction window or guarantee a change of course after selection.
IIAD and UDIT names need careful matching
Students searching for IIAD will now encounter UDIT programme and admissions information in the retrieved material. The fee PDF served through the IIAD site names UDIT and identifies 2027-28. Use the exact institution and award named on your application and offer. A familiar search name does not establish that every older course, qualification or cohort has the same current terms.
This matters for transfers as well. UDIT describes a student-transfer process involving evaluation of credits and coursework. It does not establish automatic entry to the same year for every IIAD-related applicant. Ask for the recognised credits, year of admission, awarding arrangement and fee schedule in writing if you are transferring rather than entering as a first-year applicant.
Fees and support before enrolment
The current undergraduate fee document publishes first-year B.Des. and BBA schedules for 2027-28, with admission, security and annual extra charges listed separately. It does not price every postgraduate course. Use the linked fee guide for the relevant category and request an individual schedule where your award is absent. Do not multiply a first-year amount into a full-degree quotation.
The admissions page describes merit-cum-means scholarships, asks interested applicants to notify their relationship manager during application and says an approved award appears in the offer letter. It does not publish a detailed percentage grid or income threshold in that statement. This is why there is no standalone scholarship page here and no assumed concession in the fee table.
Planning an on-campus assessment
Confirm attendance instructions and the examination day within your selected window before booking travel to Gurugram. Ask what identification and work samples are required and when the interview or portfolio stage takes place. The published campus examination centre is not evidence that every stage necessarily occurs at an identical time for all applicants.
If accommodation or transport affects your decision, request a separate quotation and cancellation terms. The admissions page discusses those facilities, but the undergraduate fee schedule does not establish a complete housing package. AptiGuide can help you compare the degree directions and organise the application questions. UDIT decides selection, scholarships and enrolment; the dated round confirmation should guide your next action.
